Guide to Looking Good
1. Clean and protect
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that regular washing is the key to smelling great but when you want to give skin a really good clean use Exfoliating Body Wash. Not only does it cleanse skin of impurities, its non-abrasive grains also remove dead skin cells and surface oil - both of which can trap nasty odours.
Then, after cleansing skin apply Roll On Antiperspirant Deodorant or Stick Form Antiperspirant Deodorant. Both provide dally-long protection against nasty niffs and won't stain your clothes. To make them extra effective, though, try trimming your armpit hair a little.
Not only will the bacteria that cause BO have less to cling onto, you'll also make it much easier for the deodorant to come into contact with your skin where it can do the most good.
2. Get fresh with fragrance
When it comes to smelling fresh nothing beats fragrances with crisp, clean citrus notes like Clinique Happy For Men Cologne Spray or Clinique Chemistry. In fact, studies have shown that 9 out of ten of us associate the smell of citrus fruits like lemon and orange with cleanliness. What's more, because citrus fragrance notes are molecularly lighter than woody or spicy notes they literally 'zing' off the skin, helping us feel cool and fresh.
Tip: To make your fragrance even more refreshing try keeping it in the fridge!
3. Layer up!
When you want to smell fresh all-over nothing beats a bit of 'layering' - using body products from a fragrance's body range to create an all-over, long-lasting, scent 'impression'. Start by showering with Clinique Happy For Men Body and Hair Wash (hair is porous so holds scent well), freshen up with Clinique Happy For Men Deodorant Natural Spray or Antiperspirant Deodorant Stick and apply Clinique Happy For Men After Shave Balm after shaving. A couple of sprays of Clinique Happy For Men Cologne Spray and you'll be smelling great from top to toe!
Tip of the month:
If you want to sweat less cut back on caffeine -
it's known to increase sweat production.
If things are getting really bad, though, try lying
down for five minutes. Strange as it sounds
armpit sweating switches off when we lie flat!
Did you know..?
Sunburn doesn't just look uncool it actually
reduces the skin's ability to release excess heat
making you hotter so always apply a little
Face Cream SPF30 if you're heading out
into the sun.

Q: How can I dress to keep cool?
A: For starters, steer clear of man-made fibres like nylon and polyester which don't low the skin to breathe. Instead, wear loose fitting cotton clothes instead.
If you're working out opt for sportswear made with CoolMax or Dry-FIT fabrics which 'wick' moisture away from the skin to keep it cool.
It's worth staying away from dark clothing too - black clothing absorbs every wavelength of visible light making it (and you) warm but white gear reflects light keeping you cooler for longer.
