Guide to Looking Good

1. Shed some skin
Nothing improves the look and feel of your skin faster or more effectively than a little exfoliation so make sure Clinique's Face Scrub is an essential part of your grooming routine. Use twice a week and you'll instantly remove the dead cells that litter the surface of your face making your skin look dull and grey. You'll also help reveal the fresh, healthy-looking cells beneath. It's a bit like sanding down an old, chipped and dirty wooden floor to expose the fresh, pristine wood underneath (only you don't have to work quite so hard get great results). Simply combine a little scrub with some warm water and massage into your face using gentle circular motions, avoiding the delicate eye area.
2. Become a bronze age man!
Hangovers, stress and late nights are just a few of the things that can leave you looking pale, pasty and generally below par. To correct this problem you could take yourself off to the Canaries for a fortnight. Or... you could just apply a little Non-Streak Bronzer and get the same result in minutes. For a natural looking glow just mix a small blob with a little M Lotion and apply to the face with smooth even strokes. The effects will be subtle (don't worry, you won't end up looking like David Dickinson) but will be enough to give your skin some much-needed colour.
3. Give yourself a paint job!
If your car's paintwork was covered in chips and scratches you'd touch it up right? Well, why should your skin be any different? To instantly disguise imperfections like dark circles, blemishes or uneven pigmentation simply apply a little M Cover. A concealer especially formulated for men, it's easy to use and is the perfect 'touch up' tool. Use sparingly, warm on the fingertip and gently blend into the skin. Bingo! Instant perfection!
Did you know..?
Shampoo residues are a main cause of dull-looking hair so if you want your barnet to look as good as your skin after all these fixes, make sure you rinse it thoroughly with plenty of warm water.
Tip of the month:
If you're worried about the state of your skin try sitting with your back to the principle light source. A tip taken from actors and photographers, it'll show you in a much more flattering light!

Q: I suffer from shiny patches around my nose and chin. What's the fastest way to get rid of them?
A: Men's skin can be up to twice as oily as women's so it's little wonder many of us start to shine as the day wears on. You can minimise the risk by swapping your usual moisturiser for Oil Control Hydrator each morning. Specially designed for greasy skin it soaks up excess oil to leave you with a matt but moisturised finish. But don't leave it in the bathroom - since things like stress can increase oil production though it's worth keeping a tube with you (in your gym bag or office drawer for example) just in case you need an emergency top up.
