Guide to Looking Good
1. Put your best face forward.
When it comes to improving the look of your skin for a big night out there's no faster (or simpler) solution than a spot of gentle exfoliation. So instantly brighten dull-looking skin with the help of Clinique's Face Scrub, using gentle circular motions to remove dead skin cells. Then give skin an healthy glow by applying a little Non-Streak Bronzer (an essential at this time of year) and disguise dark circles and annoying imperfections with M Cover. Finally, finish off by making sure lips are supple (and worth kissing) with a little Lip Balm SPF 15!
2. Spray to play.
With surveys showing that an overwhelming number of women find fragrance on a man a turn on, make sure you enhance your natural allure with Clinique Chemistry - a warm, spicy and sensual blend of Jamaican ginger, citrus and amber. To maximise its impact try applying it to your chest rather than your pulse points - that way the fragrance will be trapped against your skin throughout the evening making it longer-lasting and more intense.
3. Get yourself a winning smile.
According to a survey by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, 88% of women remember a man with an attractive smile so make sure your pearlies are perfect with a pre-Christmas trip to the dentist, think about a whitening treatment and master the art of the killer smile. According to body language experts this involves smiling briefly, gazing away, then looking back at the object of your affections. But don't force the smile as research has shown that women are great at spotting insincere smiles, which tend to last longer than real, 'felt' ones. If she licks or bites her lips after all this flirting you've succeeded in grabbing her attention!
Did you know...
Women don't just have a better sense of smell than men they also tend to rate smells sniffed through their right nostril more than through the left one? So if you really want your fragrance to make an impact always stay on the right side of the object of your affection!
Tip of the month:
Want sparkling teeth just before a date but don't have a toothbrush to hand? Then order a margarita, dip the lime in the salt and rub across your teeth. The salt acts like DIY toothpaste and the lime removes stains and freshens breath!

Q. I go to great efforts to look my best before going out but shaving rash always ruins my appearance. Any advice on how to prevent it?
A. There's nothing worse than a nasty case of 'red neck' when you're doing your best to impress so minimise the risks by ensuring your razor is clean and sharp, always shave in the direction of hair growth, and allow stubble at least two minutes to soften after applying water and your Clinique Cream Shave before you go to work with your blade. Then round things off with Clinique's award-winning Post Shave Healer to soothe, heal and help repair freshly-shaved skin.
